NAMACHEKO
Recent Paris Men’s Fashion Week debutants, Dilan and Lezan Lurr, designs unconventional patterns fused with vibrant worldly colour palettes. The self-taught sibling designers, born in Kurdish, Iraq and raised in Sweden, holds training in art and engineering. Considering their upbringing and background, it is a no surprise that the brand caught our attention with its daring intersexual silhouettes, abstract motifs with unexpected cultural references and highly “engineered” tailorings. Namacheko invites us, from their Belgium design studio, on their journey for a continuous search of an identity, blurred lines between cultural borders and experimentations.
