Honing his craft in Japan’s forward-looking Bunka Academy of Fashion, Jun Takahashi began Under Cover while still in school in 1990. In 2013, Jun came back after a hiatus with a line approaching the street with a certain amount of drape. Playing effortlessly with pattern and proportion, Jun infuses boyishness in feminine fabrics. His collections always include a theatrical flare. In 2013, he won the Mainichi fashion grand prize for a second time.
