YOHJI YAMAMOTO
Yohji Yamamoto is a Japanese designer and master tailor based in both Tokyo and Paris. Yamamoto is noted for his avant-garde tailoring and creating pieces that break the mold of the current trends. Yohji Yamamoto’s men’s collections arrived in Paris in 1981, after the Tokyo designer launched his namesake line in 1976. With his vision in protecting woman’s body, Yamamoto dedicated in making menswear that is also wearable for women. His collections consist of monochromatic and signature oversized silhouettes that feels like customized on the person who wears them.
